Previous Events:

We have orangised several events since September 2006, including:

• All Hallows Queer - This was our first major event, and was held on the 1st November for Halloween.  All Hallows Queer took place at the Student Union, and was based around "The Phantom of The Opera" which created an alternative Halloween night for all MMU LGBT members.

• Chinese Meal - We got all our members together and went for a buffet Chinese, follwed by a night in the village.  Was a fun night for all.

• Christmas Party - Our Christmas event was held in Baa Bar down Canal St, was a fantastic night and full of many different characters.  £1 a drink and free shooters, no complaints there :)

• Indian Meal - This event was our first of 2007 and we went to the Indian Buffet near Canal Street, we just about all managed to squeeze in and all enjoyed the meal, we saw quite a few new faces and all had a good night, after the meal we went to the village for drinks at various venues.

Upcoming Events:

• A get together every other Thursday - This will not be anything major, could just be a trip to the cinema, a meal out, bowling etc.  Just a chance to meet with members on a regular basis and get to know new people.

• An end of year ball - We have ideas for an end of year ball at the end of the academic year most likely before Student Pride. We are planning on having this at the SU with entertainment a DJ etc. More will follow

• Traffic Light Bar Crawl - We a thinking about having this at the end of Feb, start of March, and will be getting involved with some bars / clubs down canal street to organise free entry / shots if a bar crawl T-shirt is purchsed from us.  Should be a fun night.

• Alton Towers - When is best for you? We are thinking a Saturday before the term ends for summer.

• A trip to Amsterdam - Summer 2008

DON'T FORGET:

Our next event for our members will be on Thursday 1st March. We are having  bar crawl starting in the SU at 8pm. Committee members will be there earlier so if if anyone wants to come say hi before hand they are more than welcome. We are currently discussing with a few bars with regards to promotions that they could give us.
